Session Interval

July 9, 2018

A session interval is the amount of time that elapses between two consecutive sessions of a customer using your app. This quantifies how “sticky” your app is, and also provides you with instant feedback on whether your user experience needs improvements.

Why is Session Interval Important?

This metric highlights the frequency with which a user launches and uses your app, and is an important measure of user engagement.

This is one way to gauge whether your app is “hooking” people and if they are turning to your app out of habit. It tells how soon (or not soon) users are returning to your app.
